Shown here is an obsolete "Smart Drive" installation. The drive has been removed and a two speed brine pump installed along with a Honeywell building manager controller. This controller as seen below is controlled by the Arena Manager. The simple to use Honeywell software runs on his office computer, which allows him to control and monitor multiple arena functions and temperatures. The slab temperature is programmed to fit the arena schedules and built to maintain higher slab temperatures when unused to save electricity. Reducing the HP or shutting off the Brine Pump adds more savings.
