Doidge Controls has been in business for 33 years serving very small companies to large multinational firms. Bill Doidge Sr. has owned and operated the company with his 45 years experience in almost every facet of the Electrical Field.
We have always worked well with a company's current electrical contractors, maintenance employees and staff in general.By that, we mainly mean that we strive not to alienate anyone and are quick to share problem solutions with maintenance staff for their future reference. After several service calls on a complicated machine, problems and solutions become faster with each visit. Our work force has normally numbered at least four, with more competent help available to us for projects.

Consider the following:
- A very good knowledge of the oldest technology that may exist in your plant and reference material to back it up.
- An equally good knowledge of the newest technology in your plant and the technical support to back up that aspect of our service.
- Where we are called on to do an electrical installation, we are licensed electrical contractors in Canada and the US including several Electrical Master's licenses with 5 million dollars liability insurance and certifications including ESA (former Ontario Hydro Inspection) too numerous to mention here.
- An understanding of the importance of working around production where possible and co-operation with everyone involved in that aspect.
- Test and programming equipment worth a great deal for faster problem solving.
- Several company laptop computers, scores of PLC interfaces and software, and years of experience with most industrial microprocessors, add that PLC dimension to the newest technology, to complete our range of competence from the oldest to the newest.
- Unless otherwise specified, we supply systems with the Allen Bradley line of PLC's and keep current at all times with Rockwell Automation's latest RS Logix 5 and 500 Software.
- It has been 17 years now since our very first AB PLC system and we can still service the older systems with a laptop, software and the appropriate interface.
- We specialize in supplying complete turnkey Automation Systems or simply building a panel for a new or upgraded application.
